Still Life with Variations

This work highlights misogyny’s influence on the evolution of language as well as the propensity of language to shape our cultural attitudes. In this work I re-visits Pop Art, positioning the ordinary and even the vulgar in the “high art” arena, while attenuating the derogatory language used to refer to women by men and women alike.
